1.1 By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions you the customer are confirming that you are 18 years old or over, otherwise you must have permission from your parents.
1.2 All products remain the property of The gallery until payment is received for both product and postage. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order.
1.3 We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard & American Express) through Stripe, a secure payment system. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification. All payments are extremely secure through Stripe. We do not store any sensitive payment information.
1.4 We price our products fairly and work hard to supply the highest quality goods at the best price possible, we do however reserve the right to change pricing at anytime without notice.
1.5 In the unlikely event that you the customer have purchased a product that is sold out, The gallery has the right to refund you or suggest an exchange.
1.6 We sell handmade products, some that are produced in small amounts and others that are one off unique items. This means that we may sell out of products and have to wait for new stock to be delivered to the shop, however we endeavour to have a constant supply of independently made goods.
1.7 We only sell products that we believe to be the highest quality, with all of our stock being made by independent makers or small businesses. Due to this there is often slight quirks of difference in each product, whether the grain of wood varies from piece to piece or the shade of each glassware differs in colouration. These quirks are what makes our business special and we value the differences found in the process of making.
1.8 We photograph our products to give a true representation of the piece itself. It is possible that colours may vary ever so slightly to the ones you see on your screen, due to the constraints of digital reproduction on different web browsers, we cannot guarantee exact colour depiction. We also try to give the most accurate measurements possible for each product but please be aware these may vary a touch as each item is unique.
2.1 The prices payable for goods that you order are set out in our website. In addition you will be required to pay postage, or delivery charges for larger items. It may not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. Our delivery charges are worked out on the distance of the delivery address from our shop in Slaithwaite and we will email you a quote once your order has been received.
3.1 We aim to dispatch your goods within 48 hours of receiving payment. Please allow 7 working days for your order to arrive once dispatched. Contact us immediately by email to email@example.com if your order does not arrive within the stated time period.
3.2 During the Covid-19 pandemic and heading towards Christmas please be mindful that this may take a little longer as Royal Mail and couriers are very busy.
3.3 For UK postage and packaging on orders we use the Royal Mail who we trust to deliver your product[s] safely and securely. Orders will require a signature upon delivery, this is for safety and security reasons so your parcel ends up exactly where it needs to be.
3.4 Once posted and in transit, we cannot take full responsibility for your purchased good. It is the couriers responsibility to deliver your order safely and on time. We try our upmost to resolve any issues straight away. Every order has a tracking number that we pay close attention to throughout the journey of your parcel. All orders are insured up to £20 in the UK.
3.5 Our packaging is recycled where possible. Your order may not arrive in the prettiest wrapping but will be safe, secure and as environmentally friendly as possible. We very occasionally pack with re-used bubblewrap, however our cardboard is recyclable.
3.6 We know that sometimes there can be a rush to receive online goods. If you are in a hurry to get your products then please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org before placing your order, we will speed things up as best we can.
3.7 Saturday and Sundays are not classed as working days by our couriers.
3.8 At peak times such as Christmas, deliveries can take up to 9 working days.
3.9 CHRISTMAS - Final date for orders to arrive by Christmas will be 18th December. Orders placed after this date, although we will do our best to send swiftly, will not be guaranteed arrival for Christmas.
3.10 The Online Shop will remain open over the Christmas period and orders will be posted as soon as we possibly can. For more information or to discuss special delivery charges then please do email us at email@example.com .
4.1 Delivery times vary on where you live.
4.2 Deliveries are approx. 14 days of receiving payment. Of course if an item is needed in a hurry or on a specific day please contact us so we can try our best to accommodate your delivery needs.
4.3 We will deliver your order to the delivery address given at the time you place your order. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted.
4.4 You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you provided full payment has been received. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
4.5 A summary of the gallery delivery options are as follows:
5.1 If there is a problem with the item you have ordered, please email us straightaway at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss the problem and decide if a refund is appropriate.
5.2 For any refunds we expect products to be returned unused, undamaged and in original packaging within 7 days of agreed return/refund, after this period, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.
5.3 We cannot refund any products purchased for photoshoots or interior styling. If you’ve purchased products for this reason we will not offer a refund or exchange unless the item arrives damaged.
5.4 Postage Costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund it will have the postage costs deducted.
5.5 In the unlikely event that you receive broken or damaged goods, we require you the customer to photograph the damage and send us an email straight away, within 2 days of receipt of goods, to email@example.com We hope this is never the case but we will do everything we can to rectify the issue with a full refund or exchange.
5.6 We, unfortunately, cannot cover return postage costs. Please note that the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us so please package goods as safely as possible and ask for proof of postage from your post office.
6.1 We hold copyrights & possession of all content found on our website. If you would like to use any images or information found on our site then please do contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org We welcome the publicity and use of our content but we do ask that we are referenced, credited and linked where possible.

8.1 We are always on the look out for new products to sell at The gallery. If you are making British products that you feel sit well with our stock then please don’t hesitate to contact us via email at email@example.com Attach some images and a brief description of your work with contact details.
9.1 We welcome enquiries from media and magazines for product shots. We are happy to send product shots for magazine coverage. If you wish to use products from The gallery, they will need to be purchased from our shop or online store. If you are a stylists purchasing products for photoshoots, please do get in touch to let us know. We cannot refund any products purchased for photoshoots or interior styling.
10.1 We reserve the right to change any information found on our website at anytime without warning. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
