On the day of her fiftieth birthday, Wendy made a life-changing decision to create a space where local artists and makers could sell their works. She found the perfect space within Britannia Mills, an old corn mill, right in the centre of Slaithwaite. Wendy and her husband Chris renovated the neglected space and the gallery opened its doors in 2013.

Today over one hundred artists and makers from Slaithwaite and surrounding areas sell their art, handmade gifts and home furnishings in the gallery.
