Colne Valley jewellery maker Dawn started designing and making bracelets and malas to use for her own meditation and mantra recitation.
Inspired by the beautiful and fascinating qualities of a variety of stones, Dawn has made a range of unpolished gemstone and sterling silver bracelets, with the hope they bring happiness, peace, and enjoyment to the wearer.
Now retired, Stu works as an outdoor instructor. In his spare time, he makes unisex bracelets and keyrings from paracord. Paracord was developed in the Second World War and is used today in many outdoor and survival situations because of its light weight, versatility, and strength.
Holmfirth based silversmith Karl works organically, taking inspiration from the natural world. He handcrafts each piece from recycled silver and copper, using time-honoured techniques of shaping, firming, and soldering, giving each piece its own individual and unique character. The range includes Dragonflies, Stags, Bees, Fungi and other natural forms, as well as items inspired by Celtic design.
Marion has been making jewellery for more than 30 years. She has a studio in her garden in Netherton, where her glass kiln lives. Marion loves creating new pieces and rarely repeats a design, keeping her work fresh and ever evolving. She enjoys all the amazing colours available in glass and the way light enhances this. Many of Marion’s pieces are made from recycled fused glass.
